Cartographical Services Ltd was formed in Southampton in 1957 to supply commercial mapping services. It was subject to a management buy-out in 2002 and became Cartographical Surveys Ltd. It was subsequently acquired by 40SEVEN Ltd, a subsidiary of IETG Ltd, in 2008.
