Biographical/Historical note
BKS Surveys was established in Leatherhead, Surrey, in 1956, with its main business activities being aerial photography and topographic survey. By 1967, the company had moved its operations to Coleraine, Northern Ireland. The company joined the Fugro group in 2008, becoming Fugro-BKS.

Custodial History
On completion of the aerial survey contracts for SDD, the original films and a set of prints were deposited in the Air Photographs Unit. These were transferred to RCAHMS in 1993.
