Physical Characteristics and Technical Requirements
Photomosaics were created by the German Air Force from individual frames of GX imagery, and are arranged along mapsheet lines or cover specific target locations. Mosaics vary in size but are generally greater than 1m x 1m; for archival and practical reasons, material of this size cannot be digitised using flatbed scanners. Digitisation of mosaics is carried out by digital SLR camera copy-stand.
